Rolling Hills is a prestigious community in Fallbrook, California and a part of Rolling Hills Estates. Residents enjoy spectacular views as well as privacy and security.
Rolling Hills is comprised of large estates with acres typically two acres or larger. It was developed in the 1970s to 1980s and is the city’s only guard gated community. There is a variety of architectural styles and much of the property is zoned for equestrian purposes. The Home Owners Association covers the clubhouse, three lighted tennis courts, equestrian facilities, ponds, trails, and a barbecue area.
The Fallbrook Unified Elementary School District and the Fallbrook Union High School District have jurisdiction over this area. Student may attend facilities such as Fallbrook Street Elementary School, James E. Potter Intermediate School, and Fallbrook High School. There are also several private schools like St. Peters Catholic School, Zion Lutheran School, and SonRise Christian Fellowship Preschool. Nearby colleges include Palomar College and San Joaquin Valley College.
Residents have easy access to I-5, I-15, and Highway 76 and despite the rural setting are close to services. In downtown historic Fallbrook you’ll find art galleries, boutiques, golf, nature trails, casinos, and resorts. This is the social and cultural center for the city. There are several shopping centers like the Colony Plaza Shopping Center and the River Village Plaza.
There are trails and parks throughout the region and several golfing venues such as the Arrowood Golf Course, the Golf Club of California, and the Fallbrook Golf Club.
The City of Fallbrook is known as the “Avocado Capital of the World” because of its many avocado groves. Large crowds of visitors and locals attend the annual Avocado Festival downtown. This is also a popular place for the arts with the Fallbrook School of the arts which features public art, numerous galleries, and exhibits.
